God of Miracles
This was THE BEST WEEK EVER. SO GOOD. INCREDIBLE. I am so so so happy to be here! Life was just FULL of miracles this week.
Okay so the biggest miracle of the week was DANIEL. And so many miracles stemmed around him and his progression. Daniel is the coolest person! He is a referral from Kansas City. He was taught a little bit before he moved to Manhattan... but miracle with him is how fast he is progressing and his faith and testimony! He loves the Book of Mormon and is reading it FAST and says he feels comfort while reading it. Please pray for him that he can keep wanting to progress!
He came to CONFERENCE on Saturday! And had questions that he said he received some answers with, and he said he loved it! We invited Daniel to come again on Sunday but he was going home for the day, but while he was at home, he texted us that he was watching it! And he asked us a few questions while going through it which we quickly answered over text, and then the next talks that he heard completely answered the question and covered the topic as well! GOD'S TIMING! It was perfect!
And we had so many of our friends we're teaching watch conference or come to conference! It was incredible. We found some new people with service and also FACEBOOK FINDING this week which was such a miracle! I am so happy here. Teaching people is so fun. I love talking to people! And we've been able to meet with more in person now - don't worry socially distanced with masks - and I love being with people... but it still is amazing connecting with people over screen as well:)
Miracles miracles miracles. God is so good! I was shown time and time again how this is GOD'S work, His timing is perfect, He is a loving God of miracles and He magnifies our efforts. We worked SO hard this week and I am so tired hahaha but it was so FUN. Missionary work is fun!
Having general conference this week was such a miracle as well! It was amazing. Our prophet is so inspired! His apostles are so inspired! I know that these things are exactly what God wants us to hear, and I'm so grateful for it:)
One of my favorite quotes was from President Nelson's talk in the women's session because it just summed up exactly how I feel!
"Life WITHOUT God is a life filled with fear. Life WITH God is a life filled with peace." Words cannot express how at peace I feel here as a missionary! It's not easy and requires effort but there is true joy and peace in this work. I love GOd! I love my Savior! And I love that we just received a SURPLUS of new things we can study to learn more about them! I invite you all to study and listen to the talks if you have not had the chance to, and if you have then study it again! God loves us! We may not know the why to everything, but we can know that all experiences are for our good.

ALSO LAST WEEK OF TRANSFERS ALREADY. WHAT?! Time is going so fast I love my district wayyyy too much and always excited for change but don't want to have to say any byes again HAHA mission life though right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
