21st Night of September

Do you remember [in the] 21 days of September...
We were changing the minds of nonmembers (at least trying to), while chasing confusion away... The Spirit was teaching, in the key that our mouths were speaking, as we teached into the night, remember...... how the missionaries converted alllll of Kansas!

Hahah HAPPY SEPTEMBER 21ST! There is my great attempt of writing song lyrics, as you can tell I'm super good!

This week was QUITE the week. Honestly I don't even remember what happened other than that we did a lot of service, JOE GOT MARRIED, we had a great lesson with Rae, found a cute little Kansas vineyard that looked like ITALY kinda lol, went to one of Kansas's very own mountains for pday, and Elder Shaeffer from Olympus got transferred into my district now (let's go Titans)!! Missionary life is so so good here in Kansas and I love it!

Rae is doing so great and it is so fun to teach her! She said she had an experience where she just felt that God knew her and had a plan for her. We were over the moon excited. God is completely aware of us and has a plan for us that has been in process since the beginning of time! I love being able to testify of those things. She is amazing! And so funny. She is one of our people that have covid, and she knows she has it for sure, but has been tested 3 times now, and it's come back negative every time.... interesting stuff. She's hilarious though!

I've been feeling a little bit down this week in thinking about those we are teaching and about if it is even possible for them to progress. And one thing my sister said to me this week that really impacted my perspective of lessons with these people is that our purpose as a missionary is to bring people closer to God and Christ! Whether that's by having bible studies with them, simply talking to them, or teaching them actual missionary lessons, my purpose is to help them find Christ more! Though there were hard days this week, I still have seen God's hand in my life so so so much! And it is looking for those tender mercies that continues to bring me so much peace! He blesses my life every single day! I am so grateful for Him! I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ as well, and how I have been able to grow closer to Him on my mission! My mission has definitely humbled me a lot, but caused me to really think about my testimony and relationship that I have with Christ, and how I can grow both of them. I love being a missionary and being able to represent my Savior. I love serving the people here in Manhattan! There is no greater joy than the joy you feel while serving! Mosiah 2:17 and John 14:15! I love the people here in my branch... I look at the friendships I have with everyone here, and the friendships that they are still building with each other, and my heart just bursts with joy as well!

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! Thank you for the great emails and support and everything. I am so grateful to have such an amazing group of family and friends :)
