First Kansas BBQ

Ciao a tutti!!! This week was so fun! I love love love being a missionary and Kansas is so beautiful and happy :))

We had interviews with President Ernst this week today which was sooo fun. Driving to Salina - and we LOVE Salina - we stopped by and got my VERY FIRST KANSAS BBQ EVER!!!! And also Braum's ice cream again! Stay tuned for some delicious bbq pictures below.... we definitely already had dinner before but we just were passing a 5 star bbq so we naturally had to stop! I cannot even express how excited I was and it was DELICIOUS!! Definitely worth all the hype. And meeting with the President was molto bene as well! He is such an inspired and kind person and it was such a fun day!

And we did a TON of service this week... with basically my whole entire district it was so fun! Ahhh I love my district so much. We meet up with them a bunch and it is so fun. They have become some of my best friends and we just have so much fun. Also I reached my ONE MONTH in the field on Saturday! Time is going so so so fast here. And it blows my mind that I've only been with these great missionaries in my district and my companion for a month and wow. Crazy. Love it here!

We taught some more great lessons this week, and had quite a few lessons fall through as well, but that is missionary life and still so happy here! Such a fun week!

Quick little spiritual thought:
Alma 50:23 - But behold there never was a happier time among the people of Nephi
Just a normal scripture but the context of this is the war chapters in Alma! So how is it one of the HAPPIEST times for them? Because Moroni had been preparing them to know God and preparing and strengthening them! God is so good! He is the reason why I am happy and have joy... and I love it! Learn how God speaks to you. Come to know God. Come to know Him!

Midterm Season

Hello hello hello! Transfers are this week! And I am staying for my 3rd transfer in Manhattan! Time is crazy and going so fast. And I'm out of training woot woot. SURPRISE Sister Wirick is staying! She has been here for 7 months now so we all thought she was leaving but she is staying! Which was a surprise but we are still excited because of big plans we have these transfer! Sister Ahlborn is leaving thiugh which we are SAD about. Just saying bye to my best friends makes me sadddd but it's all good! BUT we have been teaching someone named Doug... basically he has had a tough past couple years. And we met him through some service we were doing for him and walking his dog. And then we invited him to conference last week and he came! And then we asked if he wanted to learn more and he said yes! Zone Conference Hype

Hello hello! Still doing well here in our cute college town Manhattan:) Nothing too new this week! But ZONE CONFERENCE. I. Love. Zone. Conference. Just a whole day to be so spiritually enlightened! And with only missionaries! We talked all about Joseph Smith and him as a prophet of God and the Restoration Proclamation! (Which I invite all of you to go read RN it is POWERFUL!!!) Some of my favorite lines from it are: - He (Christ) is our SAVIOR, our EXEMPLAR, and our REDEEMER - He had questions regarding the salvation of his soul and trusted that God would direct Him. - The Book of Mormon testifies that all human beings are sons and daughters of a loving Father in Heaven, that He has a divine plan for our lives, and that His Son, Jesus Christ, speaks today as well as in days of old. - He invites all of us to COME UNTO HIM. - God is making known His will for His beloved sons and daughters.
