l'ultima settimana :')
CIAO CIAO CIAO A TUTTI!!!
I finished the MTC on Friday! And head to Kansas TOMORROW and I could not be more excited!!
Not a whole lot new to my life other than that!! The last 2 weeks at the mtc were SO FUN though. Such strong spiritual classes and lessons and some FUNNY moments. And each day I just became more and more grateful for my angel companions Sorella Pitt and Sorella Kroff and my AMAZING district. My best friends! So excited to see all the good they do in this world... whether here in the states or in Italy!
Here are some highlights super quick:
- How to Train Your Dragon was a BIG hit with our class... thanks to Sorella Harris we all were assigned to listen to the soundtrack! So good. If you haven't listened to or watched it... please do. You will not regret it.
- SORELLE YOGA NIGHT!! One of the sorelle in my district is apparently a super big yoga person so we did a zoom hangout to do some yoga :) so fun
- AWESOME trc lessons! Italian and English. Basically you could say we're all fluent in italian now... jk kidding no... but it has been cool to look at the progress we have made in just 6 weeks and with it all being all online!
- last zoom festa with my district :') Not kidding when I say they are the most incredible people I know! And I am amazed at how close I have gotten to them just over zoom! They are all so funny, have such strong testimonies, and so Christlike!
- SUPER spiritual class times too... I particularly loved a lesson we had on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Our teacher said, "Missionari, I had the mission I had because of Jesus Christ. Because of my relationship with Him, and because of the Atonement." I'm so excited to go represent Jesus Christ and serve!
- saying goodbye to my comps... defs not a highlight. Being in a trio has been SO FUN!!! Power trio right here ;) They have been such a blessing in my life. The happiest and kindest people I know with such strong testimonies. They will be BOLD missionaries and I feel so grateful and humbled to have had the chance to work with them. Legit my best friends! And we cried saying bye! Over zoom! Hopefully we'll get to serve together in Milan one day, but being a missionary anywhere in the world is the best ever!
God has a plan for each one of you! I know there are things in this world that cause us to question our testimonies or beliefs or have doubts... but one thing I have such strong faith in is that we have a God in heaven who loves us! Yes, we have had hard times and trials, and we will continue to, but I know that out of all that, we do have a loving Heavenly Father. He is real, and I continue to see each day things that tell me He is there!
I love Alma's response when someone asks him to show him a sign that there is a God... He says, "I have ALL these things as a testimony that these things are true... and will ye deny them?... ALL things denote there is a God." I believe that! I believe in a loving and good God, who blesses us as we obey Him. There is nothing in this world that gives me the same type of happiness that this gospel does... especially when teaching it. And that is such a testament to me! I am so excited to get to the field! I have no idea how the work is with corona in Kansas, but I know that is right where I am supposed to go! And I know this whole home mtc was all part of God's plan for me! And I learned SO MUCH and met some of the best people - so grateful! I love God! I love Jesus! I love this gospel. I love being a missionary, and I love italianooo. And I know that being a missionary right now in a crazy world is the exact right thing for me too. I am so happy and so so so excited to get to KANSAS!!
Ci vediamo a tutti! Next time you hear from me I'll be in the SUNFLOWER STATE
